Location: Field Based / Remote working
Package: £105,000- £125,000 +competitive, bonus and benefits

We are currently exclusively representing one of the UK’s largest brands with multiple service lines. As a leading name in the automotive industry, our client works closely with a large network of independent garages to support them deliver their outstanding levels of customer service . This role is a newly created senior leadership role to manage the 3rd party network and develop performance at an incredibly exciting time for the brand due to growth and innovation.

This role will not only lead the strategic thinking around managing this network but will also execute the strategy for growth and development in partnership with peers and a direct team. There is a massive opportunity here to make a real difference, both in terms of service and outcomes to our client’s customer base, but also by reducing the cost to service through better management of agreements and objectives. We are looking for someone who enjoys identifying new opportunities to deliver value, leverage widder services and capabilities and also design a successful operating model to manage the network moving forward. This role will also be heavily involved in contract negotiation to design new commercial arrangements and providing new thought leadership relevant to the emerging trends within the automotive industry.
What are we looking for?

  • We are looking for someone with significant experience in network management who would love the chance to build a team, design a new operating model, and run day to day relationships with a geographically diverse garage network
  • Ideally, we are looking for experience in the automotive industry and with the provision of 24/7-365 services, however we are open to other industries and service lines providing there is a sufficient level of transferable skills
  • We need someone who possess strong supplier management / supply chain experience and is passionate about service management.
  • Strong commercial acumen is a must have, along with experience of negotiating and developing new commercial frameworks and agreements
  • A strategic thinker with the ability to build a strategy from scratch, get buy-in from senior execs by articulating a clear vision and the confidence to successfully execute a plan in the field  
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport at all levels, manage relationships and deliver engaging and passionate presentations
  • Track record in delivering transformation and successfully evidencing enhanced value via 3rd party relationships
