Retention Marketing Manager
Fixed Term Contract – 6 months (possible extension to 12)
Package: £40,00-£45,000 per annum + other benefits including up to 10% bonus
Location: Basingstoke, Hampshire +  remote working (flexible to wfh up to 4 days per week)

We are currently recruiting for a Retention Marketing Manager on a contract basis to work for one of our favourite clients, a leading name in the UK, well known for delivering 5* customer service to their diverse, national customer base! This opportunity is covering an internal secondment, therefore is a great chance for an experienced marketeer to gain exposure to working with a huge client base, with some of the best CRM professionals in the industry and deliver some really interesting campaigns. Our clients is super flexible when it comes to remote working so if you live further afield or just prefer home-working coming in as little as once a week could be considered for this role,  the focus of our client is on providing a collaborative and enabling work environment that helps get the best from each employee.

In terms of the day-to-day responsibilities, this role will own the end-to-end comms journey planning and will help to build and deliver a robust test and learn plan to increase persistency and value across our client’s membership base. This role will also own the E2E comms plan for one of our clients brand new, exciting products, and work to help drive more online renewals through delivering a compelling comms strategy to reduce traffic to our clients call centres. The role will work closely with an external agency, different internal teams responsible for the build and development of the campaigns (including campaign selections) and then also work closely with different analytics teams to understand campaign performance. Therefore, this role has fantastic internal exposure and will involve a lot of stakeholder interaction, so great for someone looking to broaden their knowledge in CRM and build strong working relationships.

Ideally, we are looking for someone who has worked with subscription-based products before and understands a renewal process, however we are still open to speaking with other marketeers keen to gain this type of experience who have more of a generic marketing communications background.

Experience required:  

  • Experienced marketeer who understands marketing processes and has worked to deliver E2E communications to a large B2C base
  • Knowledge of working with and designing controls for marketing processes
  • Good understanding of a campaign selection and execution process
  • Confident communicator, happy to collaborate with different teams and personalities
  • Experience working with subscription-based products or in a retention focussed role would be advantageous
  • Experience working on digital comms alongside multi-channel comms would also be advantageous but not essential
