The Role
As a Senior Analyst you will play a lead role in the delivery of data heavy and analytical projects. You will handle client engagement on a day-to-day basis and limit issue escalations. You will lead the delivery of a variety of programmes and operational projects and the successful execution of client engagements and building the firm’s ‘best in class’ reputation. As a Senior Analyst you will manage the team on a daily basis whilst building current client relationships.
  
Responsibilities

  • Developing an understanding of a client’s business, their customer needs, their industry dynamics, their products / services and their supply chain
  • Acting as a Project Lead, ensuring delivery excellence and exceeding customer expectations
  • Developing execution plans for data projects, performing risk analysis, and managing change control
  • Generating key ideas and conceptual frameworks to help solve problems and drive out insightful fact-based findings and recommendations
  • Recommending approaches to collecting and interrogating client’s data to meet the projects requirements, identifying additional opportunities where appropriate
  • Reviewing and testing the quality of data ensuring consistency across all sources
  • Contributing to proposal submissions and business development initiatives under the direction of the Leadership team
  • Supporting the development of the data science labs team within the consultancy

  
Key Skills & Experience

  • Analyst experience (minimum 5 years) in a gained in one or more core sectors – Aerospace, Defence & Security, Automotive, Industrial Products and Transportation
  • Project Management
  • People Management
  • Data Analysis
  • BI Development
  • Data consolidation, cleansing and validation to provide business insight
  • Manipulating large data sources, optimising using indexing and subsets to provide usable data for fast analysis
  • Data Visualisation using software such as Tableau and PowerBI
  • Building data models in Excel, Python or SQL
  • Presenting analysis results to clients and senior stakeholders

Desirable –

  • Experience in a client facing, consultancy role
  • Experience in procurement/ supply chain
  • Experience in business/ cost transformation

  
  
  
Education
Essential –  

  • Strong Degree level in business, engineering, IT, mathematics, science or economics related

Desired –

  • Masters in related field
