£60,000 – £70,000 per annum plus benefits

Working with recognised brands and blue-chip companies as the Senior Data Science Engineer you will be a technical specialist building scalable, resilient, reproducible advanced analytics tools. As well as this you will deploy data science solutions and interacting with stakeholders to ensure end-user capabilities are met.

What we are looking for:
  

  • Advanced knowledge of a range of programming languages, ideally Python, R, and SQL, (with exposure to C/C++/C#, Java being a nice to have)
  • Strong experience working with cloud environments, such as GCP, AWS, Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience working with RDBMS such as Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server, DB2 or Netezza
  • Experienced working with the likes of Power BI, Tableau or equivalent
  • Educational background in computer science / software development or a numerate discipline.
  • A grasp of DevOps and MLOps concepts.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to present to an audience with varied business and technical background.
  • Confidence to embed analytical solutions within potentially new or diverse tech-stacks

Qualifications
2.1 degree in software or mathematical discipline or comparative subject
