Job Title: Insight Business Partner
Salary: Up to £55,000 + 5.5k car allowance + Bonus
Location: Hertfordshire

Our client, a leading UK brand which funds numerous good causes, is going through an exciting time in their development. They are looking for an insight Business Partner, to give insight on how to broaden appeal of other online products from their extremely popular existing offerings.

The role

  • Support the Business and the Strategy with the Data and Insight to maximise and strengthen relationship with customers
  • Build a best in class consumer analytics capability
  • Deliver best in class analytics that informs Commercial, Category, Brand and Customer Relationship strategies
  • Build and maintain a deep understanding of all products in category and their performance in relation to customers motivations
  • Develop and share an understanding of the levers that drive customers to use certain products
  • Develop and share an understanding of the effects of marketing activities on customer engagement
  • Develop foresight capability to advise and influence Category and Digital teams and others in the best direction
  • Develop strong business partnering relationships with appropriate stakeholders in Category and Digital teams
  • Proactively monitor continuous trends to highlight potential risks or opportunities as needed
  • Present to senior commercial managers, cross functional teams and the regulatory commision
  • Deliver core performance reporting needs for Digital, Commercial team and the business
  • Work with the Digital team to establish suitable KPI measures and develop KPI dashboard
  • Work with partner agencies and Digital campaign team to identify and implement insight projects that will drive marketing strategies
  • Establish information software and budget requirements and effectively manage workload
Required experience and skills
  • Proven analytical skills using SQL, SAS and Business Objects and ability to interpret/analyse complex Digital customer data in an efficient way to drive insight and knowledge across Brands/Categories and Digital sector to inform the channel strategy
  • In depth knowledge of Digital environment and expert in providing channel and direct consumer understanding through use of customer databases and web data
  • Experience in developing business reporting and KPI dashboards for a full picture of channel and consumer performance
  • Presentation and communication skills, able to present confidently to senior managers and cross functional teams
  • Proven ability to take Information from multiple sources (sales, consumer, customer and macro trends) to formulate Insight and provide recommendations and options to influence the Digital and Category strategy
  • Understanding of segmentation methodology and how to create and develop a segmentation for business advantage
  • Experience of working with campaign teams to create effective targeting models and of tracking campaign performance
  • Demonstrable experience of using customer databases and eCRM tools for analytics and web analysis tools to understand consumer web behaviour
  • Project management skills and proven experience in managing analysis projects from brief to Insight delivery
  • Strong commercial awareness and proven experience of incorporating financial awareness and business implications into the recommendations derived from holistic insight
  • Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools for analysis and presentations
  • Awareness of regulatory environments and implications on Commercial strategy and Insight development
